-been working for the toronto film festival all week and tonite got to go see the new glenn gould documentary called “genius within” … really great!  if you get the chance to see it you should… also got to see some of the “neil young trunk show” that has a really amazing version of ambulance blues on it…

-really excited for the fall.  nice clear cool nights.

-record was sent to the factory today so hopefully i’ll have them back soon enough.

hey everyone.

really excited to announce that the new record will be coming out on vinyl!!!

stu and i put the finishing touches on the layout for both cd and vinyl yesterday and it’s looking real nice.

i’ve got some exciting tour dates that are coming up in the next couple months to announce shortly but for now we’ve got two that are going to be awesome:

sept. 17-The E-bar (Guelph, ON) w/ The D’Urbervilles and Bocce

sept. 18-The Grist Mill (Waterloo, ON) w/ The D’Urbervilles and more.

Both shows are benefits and release parties for Friends In Bellwoods II, a 2-disc compilation whose proceeds go to raising money for the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank.  It’s an amazing compilation and features an unreleased Evening Hymns song called “cedars” that also will appear on Spirit Guides, although it will be a different version.  Here’s some more information:

3 more days left of work in Peterborough and then I’m done and going to focus all of my energy on getting Spirit Guides on to it’s feet and out walking around.
